AVITERA® SE Dyes Combined with Special Auxiliaries: Water & Energy Saving Dyeing Technology
Editor:Gern Textile   Release date:2026-07-01 16:29:43

The molecular structure of AVITERA® SE dyes features dual reactive groups with superior affinity to cotton fibers, achieving high dye uptake under low salt conditions. Supporting special auxiliaries include low-salt accelerating agents, low-foam biodegradable soaping agents and low-formaldehyde fixing agents developed targeted for this dye series. The formula of the matched auxiliaries optimizes ion balance in dye liquor, which greatly promotes dye fixation rate and minimizes unfixed loose color on fiber surface, eliminating repeated hot washing procedures required by traditional reactive dye systems.

In practical continuous and jig dyeing production, the combined technology of AVITERA® SE dyes and dedicated auxiliaries reduces salt input by more than 30% compared with conventional reactive dye processes. The whole washing flow is shortened from 4 to 6 cycles to only 2 to 3 cycles, slashing total water consumption by nearly 40%. Less hot water heating significantly lowers steam energy consumption, and the COD value of discharged wastewater drops remarkably due to reduced residual dye and inorganic salt content, easing the operating pressure of terminal sewage treatment facilities.

The matching special auxiliaries deliver excellent leveling and anti-staining performance without containing APEO, phosphorus and harmful volatile solvents, fully complying with ZDHC MRSL environmental standards. Even when producing deep black and navy shades, the combination maintains stable color uniformity, high wet rubbing fastness and washing fastness, avoiding common defects like color unevenness, color fading and white ground staining that often appear in water-saving short-process dyeing. It is widely applicable to woven cotton, knitted cotton, regenerated cellulose fiber and cotton-blend fabrics for garments and home textiles.

Process adjustment and on-site application tips for mills: Adopt low liquor ratio dyeing equipment to maximize the energy-saving advantages of AVITERA® SE matched auxiliaries; strictly follow the recommended auxiliary adding sequence and temperature curve provided by Huntsman technical manuals; control the pH value of dye bath and soaping bath within the designated range to guarantee both color yield and resource-saving effects. For mass production lines, the integrated dyeing technology can shorten single batch production cycle, improve equipment turnover efficiency and bring dual benefits of environmental protection and economic profit for textile enterprises.
