PERSOOFTAL®OE-T mainly functions to

enhance the sewing smoothness of cotton or T/C blended woven and knitted fabrics, especially for open-end air-flow yarns with a rougher texture, which shows a significant effect.

It is suitable for various fiber finishing softeners.

Persoftal®OE-T is a special softener that can improve the sewing properties of wool, cellulose fibers, and their blends with synthetic fibers in plain woven and knitted fabrics. It can reduce

adhesion friction (between threads) and sliding friction (between thread and metal). A 1% usage amount can already bring a noticeable improvement.

Persoftal®OE-T is used for air-flow yarns, and the effect is even more pronounced. It greatly improves the rough texture and poor sewing properties. The treatment result can be compared with ring-spun yarns.

Persoftal®OE-T is suitable for all dyeing and post-treatment machines, including jet dyeing machines. It is applicable for immersion dyeing, suction dyeing, and spray dyeing methods. This product is also suitable for small bath ratio applications, especially in cases where defoaming agents (such as: 0.05-0.1 g/l Respumit®NF new) need to be used.

Persoftal®OE-T can be used in extremely small dyeing bath ratios.

If used for dyeing polyethylene fibers, it may reduce thermal migration, so laboratory tests must be conducted.

Post-treatment of cellulose fibers after dyeing Product Information|PERSOFTAL®OE-T

If the fabric is treated with a cationic finishing agent (such as products from Levogen®) to improve fastness, the softener should be added to the dye bath first. The fabric should be treated with Persoftal®OE-T for 5-10 minutes, but then the finishing agent should be added to the dye bath. This method will not damage the wet fastness.

If the order of product addition is reversed, the finishing agent will prevent the softener from being absorbed, causing precipitation.

Post-treatment of fluorescent bleached cellulose fibers

To achieve a better reduction in whiteness and a higher dyeing rate, the pH of the dye bath should not be lower than 6, and the drying temperature should not be higher than 120℃.

Rug and pile fabric

Persoftal®OE-T gives knitted and woven cellulose fibers excellent roughness and reduces the number of required rugging paths.

Applications for all fiber types

Dyeing method 1-4% Persoftal ®OE-T

PH 6-7 (acetic acid)

15-20 minutes x 30-40℃

Suction pressure method 10-40 g/l Persoftal ®OE-T

PH 6-7 (acetic acid) at 20-25℃

Peeling

0.3-0.75 g/l Diadavin®NW-T 400%

Bath ratio: 1:20

PH 3 or 8

20-30 minutes x 40 or 80℃

The temperature and PH selection for this process depend on the acid-base sensitivity of the fabric being treated. Product Information|PERSOFTAL®OE-T
